Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a broad range of medicine practices sharing common theoretical concepts which have been developed in China and are based on a tradition of more than 2,000 years, including various forms of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage, exercise, and dietary therapy. These practices are a common part of medical care throughout East Asia, but are considered alternative medicine in the Western world.
TCM's view of the body places little emphasis on anatomical structures, but is mainly concerned with the identification of functional entities (which regulate digestion, breathing, aging etc.). While health is perceived as harmonious interaction of these entities and the outside world, disease is interpreted as a disharmony in interaction. TCM diagnosis consists in tracing symptoms to an underlying disharmony pattern, mainly by palpating the pulse and inspecting the tongue.
Chinese Herbal medicine
Chinese herbal medicine is a major aspect of traditional Chinese medicine, which focuses on restoring a balance of energy, body, and spirit to maintain health rather than treating a particular disease or medical condition. Practitioners attempt to prevent and treat imbalances, such as those caused by different diseases, with complex combinations of herbs, minerals, and plant extracts.
Chinese herbal medicine uses a variety of herbs such as astragalus, ginkgo, ginseng, green tea, and eleuthero (also known as "Siberian ginseng") in different combinations to restore balance to the body. Herbal blends are said to prevent and treat hormone disturbances, infections, breathing disorders, and a vast number of other ailments and diseases. It also strengthens immunity and resistance to disease.
In China, more than 3,200 herbs and 300 mineral and animal extracts are used in more than 400 different formulas. Herbal formulas may contain 4 to 12 different ingredients, to be taken in the form of teas, powders, pills, tinctures, or syrups.
Internal feng shui
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese system of geomancy believed to use the laws of both Heaven (astronomy) and Earth (geography) to help one improve life by receiving positive energy (or chi).
It is both an art and science that has been around for approximately 5,000 yrs and continues to be widely used in the present day. Nearly every ancient civilization believed and used a form of Feng Shui although it may have been referred to by a different name.
Feng Shui, pronounced “fung shway” translates as “wind” and “water”. Which is a perfect metaphor as it is all about increasing the balance and flow of life force energy in any area of your life.
Internal Feng Shui is specially designed to bridge the gap between the Tangible (Water) and Invisible influences (Wind) in ones environment by going to the source:
Your Mindset, which includes Emotions, Beliefs, Values, Motivations, Focus, Mental Functions, Energy and Habits.
All change starts from within. Energy is flowing inside us and in our environment and each influences the other. With Internal Feng Shui you learn to match your mindset and with the natural energies in your environment to enjoy dramatic results.
