Christopher Walling (Adarshpal) has worked in academic medicine for the last decade in various executive leadership roles all throughout the United States. During his tenure as the Executive Administrator of UCLA's Longevity Center & Division of Geriatric Psychiatry, he discovered the wonderful healing potential of yoga as medicine in neuropsychiatry. Having served as the
Clinical Administrator for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, he knew the value of movement as medicine, but was inspired to delve further into the profound mysteries between the mind body connection. A perpetual learner, Chris is now finishing a doctorate of clinical psychology specializing in Somatic Psychotherapy, as he continues to champion the application of yoga therapy and touch as a powerful healing intervention.
Chris is a Certified Yoga Tune Up®, Somatic Experience® Practitioner, Kundalini Yoga Instructor, a Faculty Member at the International School of Kundalini Medicine and an instructor at Prema Yoga Therapeutics School at Pure Yoga East in New York City. Chris is a member of both Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapists. He continues to serve as the Chief Financial Officer for the Action Community Outreach Foundation in Los Angeles, California which is a non-profit dedicated to fighting drug addiction and the causes of homelessness.
